As a Sales Development Manager, your primary mission will be to deliver outstanding sales results and value-added concepts to a pre-determined regional account customer base (30 - 40 accounts) covering the Midlands and North with a focus on winning new customers. Utilising your deep understanding of the tyre industry and market dynamics, you will position brands as leaders within your customer segment.

You'll be doing this:
  • Achieve volume and profit targets through pre-defined agreements with regional customers.
  • Maintain detailed customer profiles to facilitate strategic planning and assess business potential.
  • Develop and deliver value-added initiatives tailored to customer requirements.
  • Use market knowledge to appraise and negotiate increased business shares by brand and product category.
And you’ll need this:
  • Comfortable being field-based, covering the Midlands/North area of the UK with some overnight stays.
  • Proven track record in sales with strong negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, creative self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Background in the tyre or automotive industry is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
