Our client is a well-established consumer goods business with a strong presence across UK retail. They combine brand recognition with a practical, relationship-led sales approach, investing in their field teams and giving them the autonomy to succeed. This is a role that gives you real ownership of a well-established territory across the Southeast. You’ll be trusted to run your patch properly, with the autonomy to build strong retail relationships while driving consistent commercial growth.
  
You’ll inherit a mix of established accounts and untapped opportunity. The focus is on building something sustainable, not quick wins. Backed by a supportive national sales function, you’ll have the tools and data you need, but the space to make your own calls in the field.
  
If you enjoy being out with customers, spotting opportunities others miss and turning relationships into revenue, this is a role where you’ll feel the impact of your work quickly.
  
What you’ll be doing
  • Driving sales across your territory, owning target delivery and identifying new growth opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with independent retailers and key accounts, becoming their go-to contact
  • Planning and executing your territory strategy, ensuring effective coverage and prioritisation of high-potential stores
  • Using sales data and market insight to influence decisions and improve performance
What you’ll need to bring
  • Proven experience in field sales or territory management within a retail or FMCG environment
  • A track record of delivering against targets and growing accounts commercially
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence at store level and beyond
  • High levels of organisation and self-motivation, comfortable working independently
