Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Unity Developer to join our team at SKC Studios, as we embark on an ambitious 1956 Individuals Platform. As the Unity Developer, you will be responsible for bringing our 1956 Individuals to life by building and maintaining high-quality code.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with designers, artists and other developers to create mechanics, levels and systems.
Create and maintain Unity components, scripts and plugins that support the development.
Translate design requirements into technical design specifications.
Write clean, efficient, and reliable C# code for systems and mechanics.
Optimize code and other assets for performance and memory usage.
Work with quality assurance teams to ensure that the product is bug-free and meets the quality standards.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in Unity development and programming.

What we are looking for:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience working as a Unity Developer.- Strong knowledge of Unity 3D and C# development.
  • Experience with game mechanics, scripting, and physics is a must.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with optimization of game performance and memory usage.
  • Experience with version control software such as PlasticSCM/GitHub
  • Good knowledge of mathematics and algorithms relevant to game development
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team
Desired but non-essential:
  • Mastery in C# and Python.
  • Technical Animation Skills (Rigging, skinning, scripting).
  • Experience with Jira, PlasticSCM and GitHub
