Is the UK ready for the next phase of automotive innovation?

By Olly Woodall

There’s a lot happening in the automotive sector right now. Autonomous vehicles, mobility tech, EV infrastructure and changing consumer habits are all shaping what comes next.

It’s exciting, yes. But it also raises some very real questions.

Will autonomous cars work in practice, not just in trials?

Will consumers trust them enough to use them?

What does this mean for taxi firms, delivery networks, fleets and public transport?

And perhaps most importantly, is the UK market ready for the pace of change?

Innovation is one thing. Adoption is another.

The companies that succeed won’t just be the ones with the best technology. They’ll be the ones who understand the commercial reality, the infrastructure challenges and the people needed to make it all work.

Definitely one to watch.
