The Rise of AI in the Workplace

By Jake Robinson

Yesterday, I met with a customer to catch up on a candidate I introduced last month.

As we chatted, he asked a compelling question: Have I seen an uptick in clients asking for candidates who have adopted AI into their daily work and upskilled in its use?

The short answer is: Absolutely.

They've just implemented Claude into their business (if you don't know about Claude, check them out, it's a must-have) and are pushing for everyone to adopt it.

Another client of mine has even recruited a Chief AI Officer to ensure they stay at the forefront of AI. At their quarterly all-hands, teams demonstrated how they incorporate AI into their daily tasks.

Here's what I'm seeing:

🔹 Businesses investing in AI to drive efficiency and innovation

🔹 Employees being encouraged - or even mandated - to upskill in AI

In my view, while AI is revolutionising workplaces, in the GTM space, it will complement but not completely replace traditional skills. The human touch still holds immense value.

What do you think? Is AI adoption a deal-breaker for hiring success or just a valuable addition?
