Under Attack! BD has lost it's mind...

A constant stream.

And these are just some of the things people have approached me about in the last 7 days: AI enabled outsourcing, outsourced RPOs, Agentic AI, AI which does other stuff, AI enabled CRMs, AI superpowered sourcing software, cybersecurity to help guard against pesky AI, staff training solutions (with an AI focus of course), AI to screen candidates, AI to answer phones, AI outreach and sequencing.

That's before you add in the approaches selling payroll solutions, energy quotes, cybersecurity, business performance, outsourced marketing, outsourced design, app development, building offshore coding teams (?), websites, IT support, telephone systems.

My particular bugbear is energy quotes. Literally don't bother trying to call me.

It actually feels like I'm under attack.

There's normally a steady stream of sales approaches - it's part and parcel of the job - but this year has been ridiculous. Anyone else noticing a huge uptick?

We recruit salespeople. I get it. I understand I will be approached given my role. People have a job to do and I don't like being rude so I try to respond to the approaches as politely as I can. And sometimes (very rarely) it's something worth having a conversation about for now or futures.

But frankly, if anyone has an AI to which I can outsource my responses to approaches, you could be onto a winner. I may live to regret saying that 😉😂
